Thank you to everyone who shared their images for the July prompt. I’m so grateful. If you haven’t seen them click HERE to visit the page, there is an amazing selection of photos! When I was a child August was the last month of the school summer holidays, the weather was probably the best it had been all year and we would go to the seaside at the weekend. Inevitably I would be injured in some way but that is an entirely different story! I am hoping that August will once again bring some wonderful weather so that we can all get outside, and this month’s theme reflects that. It’s time for a Beach Party!
Let’s go to the seaside.
I love being at the seaside. I love the atmosphere, it always seems to be a happy place to be. Last year we went to the beach and there is something I find rejuvenating about paddling I’m the sea. The feel of the tide, the gentle tug as it goes over your feet. Anyway, enough about me.
The topic is just a guide, and you can ignore it and go your own way! Want a few ideas?
- Drinking a cocktail at home that reminds you of being on holiday.
- Sunbathing in your garden.
- Old images from visits to the seaside are allowed.
- New images from the beach if you’re in the lucky position to be able to go.
- Making sandcastles.
So, armed with these and remembering that you can apply your own interpretation, I look forward to seeing your compositions.
ps. Don’t forget to have fun!
